Mt Rainier Training Plan

Hello everybody and thanks for visiting my blog. On this post I want to share the training plan I followed for my first attempt to summit Mt Rainier. It was a 4 month plan and I tried to follow it as much as I could.

If you go back into my archives¬† you can see that I added some CrossFit workouts, swimming, and also started hiking with the backpack with some weight in it, so you guys can modify it to your liking but the goal is to be ready to hike back to back days for at least 9 hrs with 40-45 lbs in your backpack. Physically that’s what you need to be ready for the summit .

There are other technical skills that I lacked that I will work on for my second summit bid and I will share these with you guys…so stayed tuned!
